About Kevin

Kevin is the former Edwardsville Township Supervisor and a current Glen Carbon resident. In four years as Township Supervisor, he worked closely with Edwardsville Township residents to create better support systems to meet the basic needs of families and individuals.

“People are struggling right now, and I know this because I’ve taken the time to listen, to understand, and to work to meet their needs,” Hall said. “We need collaborative, productive leaders in Springfield to fight for the working class, particularly as we see challenges around housing, groceries, childcare, and utilities.”

As Township Supervisor, Hall expanded support and funding for critical local programs, including Main Street’s Meals on Wheels, GlenEd Food Pantry, Brown Bag Buddies, Overnight Warming Locations, and Back-to-School backpack drives. To support young families, Hall’s administration started a diaper bank for township residents and implemented twelve weeks of paid parental leave for township employees.

He led new efforts to address loneliness, isolation, and mental health by launching free Soup Socials and open gym programs.

He accomplished all of this in a fiscally responsible way, as the township’s property tax rate is the lowest it’s been in more than 30 years.

“We all want a safe, healthy, and affordable future for Illinois families. That’s common ground we can build on,” Hall said. “Democrats and Republicans alike need to focus on what unites us, not what divides us. I’m proud to have long-time friends in both parties in the General Assembly and look forward to working together for the good of everyone.”

Kevin lives in Glen Carbon with his wife Kellie, a veterinarian in Godfrey, along with their three young sons and two dogs and two cats.

“My children are the reason I’m running,” said Hall. “I want to do whatever I can to make our community, our county, and our state the best it can be for their future.”

Kevin currently works in Information Technology in Edwardsville and previously spent six years working at the Madison County Courthouse. First elected as an Edwardsville Township Trustee in 2017 as a write-in candidate, Hall was elected Township Supervisor in 2021.  He is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and serves on the St. Louis Illini Alumni Club board.
